Welcome to the home page of Glass by DNR.

We are a husband and wife team working out of our small studio in rural South Lincolnshire.

From here we produce beads using lampwork techniques then turning them into jewellery, fuse and slump glass using our own kilns, and produce stained glass panels and suncatchers using the traditional 'Tiffany' copper foil technique.

We have been working and teaching using glass as a medium for over twelve years and supply hobbyists, up market craft showrooms and Jewellers with our craft.

*This picture is of beads, which we made at a demonstration held at Peterborough showground, (Excel), for their Autumn craft fair. The fair was well attended and at times the crowd got to 6 deep and people were jostling for position. It was an awesome 3 day event and the demonstration was well received. A big thank you for the Excel team for looking after us.

**This picture is of Ruth using a hot head torch. The Hot head is usually used by beginners or/and people just wishing to have a go at the art of bead making. However Ruth favours this torch to produce her signature tear drop pendants. The hot head runs at it's best with Mapp gas (available from such stores as B&Q) but can also be run with a direct propane feed with the help of an adapter.
